It is not okay that over 3,163 New Jersey residents died from an overdose in 2018. The Murphy administration has allocated $100 million to address the overdose crisis, but we do not know how exactly this money will be spent to expand access to care or if it will be effective. Whether people use drugs or not, we’re all worthy of dignity and respect and deserve to access to the care we need.
