Let’s talk about offshore wind.

As an offshore wind develops here in New Jersey, we want to make sure it benefits our communities directly and helps us preserve our home for years to come. Here’s how we think about it: there’s a way projects like these can be done well, and ways they can be done poorly – and doing it well requires us, the people who live here, to be part of the process.

We wanted to learn more about offshore wind, so we worked with local experts to put together some information about some of the basics: how turbines work, how much electricity they generate, and challenges, opportunities, and solutions that we should consider.
